    Due to the custom, made-to-order, and hygiene-sensitive nature of our products and services, Kimistry does not accept returns, refunds, or cancellations on any orders.

    This includes (but is not limited to):

    • Fragrances and accessories

    Once an order is placed and payment is submitted, fabrics are sourced and production begins immediately — therefore no refunds or returns can be issued.

    Exchanges (If Applicable)

    Kimistry may allow an exchange only if:

    • You receive an item that is damaged upon arrival AND

    • The damage is reported within 48 hours of delivery with photo/video proof

    Approved exchanges will be replaced with the same item or store credit. No cash refunds.

  • General Care

    • Handle your gown with clean, dry hands only.

    • Avoid lotions, oils, perfumes, and deodorants coming in contact with the fabric or appliqués.

    • Keep the dress away from sharp surfaces, jewelry, and rough seating to prevent snags.

    • Store in a breathable garment bag (no plastic).

    Cleaning

    • DO NOT machine wash. DO NOT put in the dryer.

    • Spot clean only using cool water and a gentle fabric-safe soap.

    • Avoid scrubbing appliqués, beading, or mesh.

    • For deep cleaning, take to a professional dry cleaner experienced with couture or formal gowns.

    • Never iron directly on appliqué or satin — use a steamer, holding it 1–2 inches away.

    Storing Your Dress

    • Hang using the inner hanger loops, not the straps or appliqué.

    • Keep the dress in a cool, dry space away from sunlight to prevent fading.

    • Ensure the skirt/train is gently spread out in the garment bag to avoid creasing.

    Wearing

    • Put on dress after hair, makeup, lotion, and perfume.

    • Be mindful of long nails, rings, and bracelets when slipping it on.

    • When walking, lift the train slightly to prevent dragging or tearing.

    • Avoid sitting on rough chairs, concrete, or textured car seats.

    Transporting

    • Lay the dress flat across the backseat or hang it securely so the train doesn’t bunch.

    • Keep drinks, food, body glitter, and spray tan FAR away.

    Appliqué & Embellishment Care

    • Do not pull, pick, or tug at decorative pieces.

    • If a bead or appliqué loosens, avoid wearing until repaired by a professional seamstress.
