About this Course
This is the first thing I learned to sew and it taught me everything I still use today. I know what you're thinking, it's just a skirt, but IT'S NOT. It's semi complicated and valued at $150!
While you make this popular Full skirt, you will learn all the basics to
-hemming pants, skirts, shorts, etc, rapairs, fix zippers
-Basic sewing techinques that are essential to making any item (zipper, waste bands, fabric sense, sewing machine techniques
- gain a community of seamstresses that will help you on your lifelong journey.
You will also have the opportunity to sell what you made and make some money at our, "End of course auction."
Coures: Saturdays from 10am-1pm starting Sept 16th AND breakfast will be served.
Location: The Kimistry Lab located on North Ave.

Hi, I'm Kimberly the owner of The Kimistry Lab and I will be your instructor for this course. I have been sewing for the last 20+ years and can't wait to show you the best tips and tricks to start your sewing journey.
Why me? Well aside from my sewing experience, I am former MPS high school science teacher and teacher coach of 14 years. Through my experience teaching students and training teachers, I have learned best practices to educate others. I enjoy spreading knowledge using skills that many other instructors don't have. When you leave my course you will leave confident in your ability to sew and sew well!
